Val Price has written this 48 page book based on her research into various people who had received the Honorary Freedom of the Borough of Totnes from 1888 – 1975. During this time there were 20 recipients of this award including four local men who volunteered for the Boer War in 1901 and Mrs Bernice Gray who was the last to receive this honour in 1974.
